Oh my goodness I keep running out of time!! Today we do have a little less time because we’re going to go do service at the nursing home soon:)
We made valentines to give to our investigators, former investigators, less actives, and just people in the ward who we thought would appreciate it. We delivered about 30 on valentine’s day:)
In The Book of Mormon I recently have been studying Mosiah. Mosiah 27:36 talks about the sons of Mosiah and how they were instruments in the Lord’s hands. That’s something I’m working on–being an instrument in the Lord’s hands. I know that we all can do His work here on earth. He needs us to love and serve the people around us. In John 13 it says that people will know we are disciples of Christ if we love one another. I want to challenge all of you to pray and look for opportunities to help the people around you. They’ll be able to see that you are a disciple of Christ, and both they and you will be blessed:)
Sister Wick wanted me to draw Abish! This is when she discovered that the Lamanite queen had been converted and overcome by the Spirit. she’s recognizing it as a missionary opportunity and is about to go tell everyone what happened. 🙂
Also, Sunday was a wonderful day for me this week. It was so good to be able to take the sacrament and think about how I can be more like Christ. I know that the Sabbath is a day set apart for us to grow closer to Him:)
This Saturday, our investigator is being baptized! He and his wife who is already a member are so excited!! It’s beautiful to see how the gospel strengthens their relationship. They’re building an eternal family:)
This kid named Landon in our ward let me hold his ball python, Jake! Yup, Jake the Snake:) Also Sister Wick and I tried to pretend it was summer and bought slurpees and shivered.
I love you all and hope you’re doing well!!
